ORCHARD FARM
For over 200 years the farm buildings at Orchard Farm have been used as cider barns, cow sheds and most recently a pigsty, tractor barn and lambing shed but they have now been lovingly converted into two boutique self-catering holiday cottages.
The whole of this part of Somerset was covered in cider orchards up until the last century when they were cleared for other forms of farming. Orchard Farm retains a small original cider orchard and we still press around 60 gallons of cider apple juice each year. Our annual Wassail is held each January to help 'wake' the trees!
Located on a small farm in a pretty hamlet near the picturesque village of North Curry, The Tractor Shed and Pigsty are situated just 6 miles from Taunton and a short drive from The Quantocks, Exmoor and The Blackdowns. Cheddar gorge and the Mendips are within reach and Glastonbury Tor is a short picturesque drive.

The Pigsty and Tractor Barn provide an excellent base from which to explore the beauty of Somerset. There are lovely walks on the doorstep, the north and south coast are a short drive away and there are plenty of cycling options for families, mountain bikers and road cyclists (cycle route 33) alike.

We look forward to welcoming you to the farm.
